How to Apply a Pre-Pasted Wallpaper Border
Follow these quick and easy steps to install a pre-pasted wallpaper border using just a few basic tools:
Measuring tape (or ruler)ScissorsClean sponge or wallpaper brushBowl or tray of warm water 
Step 1 Measure the Wall
Measure the length where the border will go using a tape measure, ruler, or measuring tool of your choice. Mark or note the measurements for cutting
Step 2 Cut the Border
Cut the wallpaper border to match your measurements, leaving a little extra at the ends for adjustment
Step 3 Soak the Wallpaper Border
Loosely roll each strip with the paste side facing out, then soak it in warm water for 10–15 seconds. Follow the instructions on the packaging for best results.
Step 4 Book the Border
Gently fold the soaked strip in half, paste-side in, without creasing. Let it sit for a few minutes to activate the glue
Step 5 Position on Wall
Align the border at your desired height. Use a level or pencil guide to keep it straight
Step 6 Smooth and Clean
Press the border onto the wall, smooth out bubbles with a sponge or brush, and wipe away any excess glue
